life

OK. i haven't blogged in forever, and i don't really know what is making me start again, but i do find it relaxing to write my thoughts. so, even if no one ever reads this, it will still feel good to write!
my life has changed a lot in some ways since i last wrote, and has stayed so much the same in other ways. i am still in love with my adam, and my boys are the light of my life. that will never change. adam is now working semi-full-time at the church as the pastor's assistant. he is still working at astro, which is a nightmare that will hopefully be over by the end of this month!
i am homeschooling the boys this year, and they just love it. of course, i think my kids are the smartest ever, and i would love to prove it to you! :)
we sold the shop, you know, the place that i loved to complain about in all my previous posts! so that was a huge relief to be done with that.
i could write forever, but i will spare you the details. i am so thankful for where God has me in life right now. although our apartment is small and at times a little claustrophobic, i have never been more content, and that is GOD!!
more later.

tribute to Dr. Falwell

I am sure that my story is not the kind that will be posted on any site,or read from any pulpit. I don't have a story about Dr. Falwell that will grip your heart or bring a tear to your eyes. I am simply a girl who has been touched by the life and legacy of Dr. Falwell and feel the need to step up and help to fill the void of a man who's impact will take thousands to even come close to filling!!

My parents graduated from Liberty Home Bible Institute when i was little. When I graduated from high school I began school at Liberty University in the fall of 1995. From the moment I stepped on the campus, I knew that I had made the right choice. I had the privilege of sitting under Dr.Falwell's preaching, along with my then boyfriend (now husband). I attended Thomas Road the 3 years that I was at Liberty and had the privilege of being in the church choir, and participating in the Living Christmas Tree. I wish I could have spent more time there. I absolutely love Lynchburg! My husband and I, with our 2 boys, now live in New Hampshire and have faithfully attended Super Conference just soaking up all we could of Dr. Falwell and leaving refreshed to serve the God that he loved and served. I am thankful to have a godly husband who shares the same passion for ministry and love for Dr. Falwell!!!!

So no, I can't say that I have had the life of my baby saved through the ministry of the godparent home. I can't say that my life has been directly touched through the ministry of the Elim home. But I can say that my life has been forever changed by this man. I can say that I have a renewed desire to reach my "lynchburg" with the love and gospel of Jesus. I can say that Dr. Falwell's confidence, boldness and incredible love for God has inspired me in a way I could never express with words. I can say that because of one man and his amazing faith, this humble girl wants to change the world for Christ. It is because of Dr. Falwell that I think I can! I want to dream bigger and work harder and make every moment count. I know that nothing of eternal value can be accomplished apart from prayer. I have committed to being a better prayer warrior and I can not wait to see what God will do.
Thank you Dr. Falwell for not being ashamed to voice the truth. For believing that NOTHING is impossible with God. For being willing to be used by God and changing the lives of millions of people. You have inspired me to love and trust my God in a greater way. Thank you for reflecting the light of Jesus so brightly!
YOU WILL BE MISSED!
