kids say the darndest things...

so tonight we were doing our family devotions before bed as we always do.
at the end of each lesson, there is a "my amazing world" box that gives a little fun fact.
today's was...

some "bird parents" have to bring their nestlings (baby birds) food 1,000 times per day

riley says

"imagine having 1,000 of your friends die?"

silence.

i'm like thinking...how did we jump from the topics of birds, to friends dying??

he then says...

"if you're a worm"

haha...that is one funny boy!
