A sneak peek into my very own BHAG

Remember when I told you all about my bhag?
Well, actually. Besides telling you that it was really hairy, I didn't really reveal what it was.
Funny thing is, I have way more than one.
Does that make me weird?

Anyways...
I decided to share a little bit about one of my biggest and scariest goals.

You know that we run a youth center
You also probably know that we recently became an official not for profit...which was a HUGE deal!
Well.
We love the youth center.
We love the kids. Like seriously love them.
I mean I guess that's pretty obvious since I spend so much time with 12-year-olds!

But what I want for them is more.
What I want for them is bigger.

And so this is where my BHAG comes in.

We are building a Community Center.

Please, please notice the way I wrote that sentence.
WE. ARE.

There are some things in life that you think... maybe this will work out, maybe it won't.
Maybe this is from God, maybe it's just my own idea.

But this one?
It's from God.
It's clear.
And it's happening.

Shortly after I wrote that last post about my bhag, I wrote another post about making sure that I don't forget the order of my priorities
I really made sure that I was focused on God as my number one, and my husband next. Then my kids and THEN my ministry. My business and everything else came last.
It is still constant work to make sure I am remembering that, but it is my goal.
I wanted to have that structure set up before I even started asking God for more.

Adam and I started talking about what the next step was for Epping Lighthouse Ministries.
We both had the exact same, almost ridiculously enormous dream:

A community center.

I told you it was going to be a sneak peek into my very own BHAG.
Not the whole thing.
I can't give everything away, just know that this is going to be an amazingly incredible facility.

But...let me just tell you what has happened in the last month since we actually put our dreams down on paper and started praying over them.

*We received a brand new pool table from Walmart in Epping.
*We received $200.00 in donations as soon as we made donations available online.
*We received a completely unexpected donation of $1,300.00 from someone we only kind of knew from 20 years ago.
*We received a $500.00 donation from Walmart in Epping.
*We found a piece of land that we believe God is going to give us for our center. (It is not currently for sale, but we have contacted the owner and asked if they would be willing to sell it to us)
*This one is hot off the press: We received a...get this... $5,000.00 donation today from a woman in Pennsylvania that we have never met. (She is friends with my brother and heard about us that way)

Dudes...it's only been a month!!

Do not ever. For one second. Believe that God is not able!!
If God gives you a dream. He is going to provide everything you need to fulfill it.

I totally believe that if you are faithful with little, God will trust you with more.

We are doing our best to be faithful with the very small space we have right now,  and are trusting that God will reward us and give us a bigger space!

So there you have it.
A very, very, very small sneak peek into my very own BHAG.

Can you feel it?
Can you almost see the gym with 6 basketball courts?
Can you practically smell the coffee brewing in the lounge?

Whoa whoa whoa...I'm getting excited and starting to give too much away!!

Just know this.

My God is big, man.
My God is powerful, dude.

And my God is able to do exceedingly abundantly (that's a double whammy) more than I could ever ask or even think!!

I can think pretty stinking big.
But God can do even stinking bigger.

I am on the edge of my seat to see what's about to happen!
Thank you for being along for the ride with me.
I love having friends to celebrate with!

Don't worry...you are all going to get invited to the open house!

Dream big, my peeps.
Dream big.
